Trust Company is an American rock band formed in Montgomery, Alabama, in 1997. Blending post-grunge, alternative metal, and hard rock influences, the band rose to prominence during the early 2000s with emotionally driven songwriting, melodic guitar work, and powerful live performances. Their debut album, The Lonely Position of Neutral, introduced fans to hit songs such as Downfall, Running from Me, and Hover, helping establish Trust Company as a recognized act within the post-grunge movement.

Following the success of their debut, Trust Company continued to build a loyal fan base with albums including True Parallels and Dreaming in Black and White. Led by vocalist Kevin Palmer, the band earned recognition for combining heavy guitar riffs with memorable melodies and introspective lyrics that resonated with rock audiences. Although lineup changes and periods of inactivity interrupted the band’s momentum, Trust Company has continued to perform and record, maintaining a dedicated following among fans of early 2000s hard rock.
