Theory of a Deadman is a Canadian rock band formed in North Delta, British Columbia, in 2001. Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Tyler Connolly, the band gained early attention after being signed to Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger’s 604 Records label. Blending post-grunge, hard rock, alternative rock, and acoustic influences, Theory of a Deadman established itself with its self-titled debut album before achieving greater commercial success with releases such as Gasoline, Scars & Souvenirs, The Truth Is…, and Savages. Hit songs including Bad Girlfriend, Santa Monica, RX (Medicate), Not Meant to Be, and Lowlife helped the band build a loyal international following.

Over more than two decades, Theory of a Deadman has developed a reputation for memorable songwriting, radio-friendly rock anthems, and consistently successful touring. While their musical style has evolved over the years, the band has continued to balance hard-hitting rock songs with melodic ballads, earning multiple chart successes in both Canada and the United States.
