Steve Earle

Country firebrand Steve Earle started out with a raw approach to songwriting and a rebellious independent attitude, earning his reputation in the late 1980s with the release of Guitar Town, an often forceful blend of hard rock and straight-ahead country music. His biggest hit (and one of the tracks here) was the rousing ‘Copperhead Road,’ with its gritty outlaw attitude, and elsewhere, ‘Goodbye’s All We’ve Got Left’ showcases his ability for simple yet evocative country pop.
The Texas singer and songwriter draws on country, rock, folk and Americana in a collection of songs that are imbued with sharp, politically charged lyrics and an earthy, road-hardened authenticity. Guitar work serves the song rather than dominating it.
On stage, his performances are in a word raw and always comes from the heart. Direct and somewhat unpolished in the best way, his energy is intense and focused mainly on delivering his songs and his message to the audience.
Tour passes and merchandise for collectors. Steve Earle’s career, marked by independence, honesty and a general disdain for the status quo.
