Love/Hate is a hard rock band from Los Angeles, USA, that emerged in the late 80’s on the Sunset Strip, where other major bands like Mötley Crüe, Guns N’ Roses, Slash’s side project Slash’s side project Slash’s side project, etc emerged to shape the late 20th century’s rock music landscape. The band’s frontman Jizzy Pearl writes and delivers hard-edged rock songs laced with blues, that are instantly memorable with his catchy hook lines and raw vocal delivery. Their debut album Blackout in the Red Room is a hard rock masterpiece, and a staple of late 20th century rock music that is loved by fans around the globe.

Love/Hate is often confused with other Sunset Strip Bands of the late 1980’s glam metal scene. The band’s focus on strong song writing instead of over the top image as well as their high energy live performances earned them a loyal fan base in the latter half of the 1980’s and early 1990’s.
