Alter Bridge is an American hard rock band from Orlando, Florida, formed in 2004 by Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall, and Scott Phillips, all formerly of Creed. They are joined by vocalist and additional guitarist Myles Kennedy. The band’s debut, One Day Remains, was a very powerful release, bringing forth a number of very solid songs such as “Open Your Eyes,” “Find the Real,” “Blackbird,” and “Isolation,” making Alter Bridge one of the hard rock bands of the 21st century.

Contrary to the success that Creed experienced Alter Bridge has garnered a huge worldwide fan base off of the critical acclaimed albums that the hard rock band has released. The guitar work of Mark Tremonti and the vocals of Myles Kennedy are some of the key elements that make up the Alter Bridge sound. The band has released 5 studio albums which include Blackbird, AB III, Fortress, and Walk the Sky. The band incorporates a mix of hard rock, alternative metal, and progressive rock in their music, which has allowed them to be apart from the rest of the hard rock and alternative bands that are dominating the airwaves today.
